There is a simple pedestal foot onto which the trunk is attached and onto this there are two arms. For the light itself there is a traditional-motivated shade made from solid wood in a tapered octagonal form. The lamp can be adjusted by the three hand crafted adjustment knobs to the position desired. The lamp is finished off with a fabric-covered twisted cable in a choice of colours.

This lamp is a novel concept in atmospheric lighting.

A lampshade in a robust, hexagonal form with a veneer front and open frame.

Placed on a table or shelf in a dark corner of a room, the light from the back of the lamp projects a hexagonal form on the wall or curtains behind it. This brightens up the most hidden of areas of the room and enlarges the room.

Yet another novel concept we developed within just the past few weeks. The lamp consists of a wooden frame with a woven veneer skin. This gives am iteresting pattern of light throughout the room as well as more light in general.

Another advantage of this style of lightshade is that the width of the veneer can be varied to create different effects as well as mixing of different veneer sorts to create striped patterns.

The triangular form of this lightshade was intended to be used above a dining table or coffee table. The concave sides produce a large lamp as the focal point for a room, but also the light is channeled downwards.

This channeling makes it more pleasant to sit at the table as there is no direct light in your eyes.
